Shanghai, China – Louis Vuitton sets sail on a new chapter of experiential luxury with the opening of “The Louis”, an innovative concept store on Nanjing West Road that pays tribute to the brand’s storied heritage in travel and craftsmanship. The striking 30-meter-tall structure, reminiscent of a modern cruise liner, anchors itself in the city’s maritime past and solidifies Shanghai’s role as a global fashion gateway.

Wrapped in the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram, “The Louis” spans 1,600 square meters across three levels, blending retail, exhibition, and hospitality into one captivating destination. The exterior stuns with sleek metallic finishes and design nods to vintage trunks, while inside, visitors are immersed in the “Visionary Journeys” exhibition — a mesmerizing exploration of the maison’s legacy through floating monogram trunks, historical perfume kits, and live demonstrations by master artisans.

Highlights include a sports room with Formula 1 gear, a bespoke book room inspired by Gaston-Louis Vuitton, and a working atelier offering firsthand views into the brand’s artisanal mastery. The top floor houses the elegant Le Café Louis Vuitton, where guests can indulge in a fusion menu of Shanghai and Western cuisine, pastries, and panoramic views.

Retail offerings feature exclusive ready-to-wear, accessories, and leather goods, including Shanghai-only personalization services. Access to the exhibition is complimentary via the “My LV” WeChat mini program, inviting the public to discover a reimagined luxury journey that reaffirms Louis Vuitton’s timeless dedication to craft and innovation.
