
Born to Ghanaian parents and raised in New York City, Jeffrey’s creative journey was rooted in a unique blend of street style, renaissance art, and tailored elegance. Though he initially pursued Dental Studies, his passion for design led him to Paris, where he began a new chapter in fashion design and art curation. He later returned to New York to study Menswear at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), refining his craft in one of the world’s fashion capitals.

Today, Jeffrey Ampratwum is a respected celebrity stylist, having worked with top-tier athletes, musicians, and actors. His portfolio includes visual campaigns and editorial direction for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Hermès. In 2023, he published Menswear Style Guide: New York City, receiving acclaim for its fresh take on modern masculinity and urban style.
Beyond fashion, Jeffrey is a dedicated educator and advocate. He teaches Menswear Styling at FIT and is completing his Master’s in Fashion Studies at the CUNY Graduate Center. His passion for inclusion has driven him to develop one of the few fashion programs for middle school students in underserved communities, and he actively works with children with brain-based disabilities—championing adaptive clothing and inclusive design.


As of 2025, Jeffrey joins Porterium Magazine as a contributor to the Fashion Section, focusing on luxury menswear, men’s fashion, and lifestyle aesthetics. His insight, global perspective, and commitment to inclusive fashion will enrich Porterium Magazine’s editorial voice, offering readers meaningful content at the intersection of design, culture, and social impact.

Dividing his time between New York, London, and Paris, Jeffrey continues to shape conversations around menswear, personal image, and representation in fashion—making his contribution to Porterium both timely and inspiring.
