Paris, July 2025 – In a delicate world where contrasts threaten harmony, AELIS Couture’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 collection, Love to Love, emerges as a whispered prayer for peace, unity, and beauty. Staged in the legendary Parisian venue Les Bains, designer Sofia Crociani invites us into an emotionally charged narrative—where sustainable couture dances in dialogue with history, mythology, and the sacred color red.
Red: The Color of Connection, Culture, and Compassion

In Love to Love, red becomes the fil rouge, weaving through each look like a divine frequency of emotion. From purple-red and ruby to lacquer and iron oxide, red symbolizes more than passion—it stands as a universal bridge between East and West, North and South.

The origin of this chromatic devotion? A journey to Turkey, where Sofia, invited by the Italian Embassy and Consulate for conferences on sustainable fashion, visited Hierapolis—an ancient Mediterranean sanctuary. Here, the sculptural bas-reliefs and evocative theater scenes inspired her vision: red as both memory and awakening, a color of rebirth for fashion.
Myth Meets Material: Sacred Craftsmanship and Sustainable Innovation

The couture silhouettes of Love to Love are created with the finesse and precision of haute couture’s sacred rites. From blood-red Italian silk satin balanced on the shoulder with gold chains and crystal embroidery, to a rose-sculpted bustier in ancient velvet from Maison Prelle, Crociani fuses classical drama with ecological purpose.

Innovative alternatives to fur and leather appear in chenille and organic cotton velvets, offering tactile richness while respecting the planet. A collaboration with Christine gives rise to a sculptural masterpiece of upcycled tulle, suspended by platinum cords and lace weaves, creating a luminous structure with ethereal depth.
This celebration of sustainable elegance is further enhanced by Les Interessants, whose upcycled 18th-century crystal lustres, metal ribbons, and embroidered pearls evoke both memory and reinvention. In one standout moment, a lace-metal necklace caresses the collarbone like a sculpture in motion—its punk-rock energy nodding to Donatello’s Renaissance drama.
Artistic Communion and the Myth of Hierapolis

Love to Love unfolds like an opera, where red and white textures speak of both blood and transparency—the vital lymph of life. The blue velvet menswear look, paired with deep purple merino trousers, creates a flowerlike silhouette on model Ziane, punctuated by a scarlet feather crafted from bamboo by Mattiart, resting delicately beside red-tinted glasses.

In a triumphant finale, the muses of AELIS, goddesses from the underworld of Hades, parade through Les Bains, blurring lines between past and present. A soundtrack by Orpheu, whose voice commands the atmosphere, bridges the mythological and the modern in a sacred ritual of couture. The accompanying film closes on an image of Hierapolis, anchoring the entire collection in a vision Crociani calls her “Arkeo Fashion Future.”
AELIS: Where Ecology Becomes Elegy

In an age where fashion grapples with identity, Love to Love reclaims it—through circularity, friendship, memory, and myth. It’s not just about clothes, but the power of couture to reflect—and heal—a fragmented world.
Sofia Crociani’s AELIS continues to redefine what it means to be eco-conscious, emotionally resonant, and exquisitely couture.
