Milan Fashion Week welcomed an evening where Italian heritage, contemporary fashion, performance and technology came together beneath the historic glass dome of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

On September 22, Vogue World: Milano transformed one of Milan’s most iconic landmarks into a spectacular celebration of Made in Italy. Held during Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027, the event brought together designers, models, performers, musicians and creatives, reflecting the many faces of Italian culture.

The evening unfolded across five chapters, beginning with “The Artisanal Revolution,” a tribute to Italy’s extraordinary tradition of craftsmanship. Renaissance-inspired details, intricate textiles and couture techniques celebrated the artistry of the human hand before the presentation moved towards Italy’s industrial heritage and the precision of modern production.
The spirit of La Dolce Vita followed, bringing together fashion, cinema and the unmistakable glamour associated with Italian style. Iconic names from the Italian fashion landscape, including Prada, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Ferragamo and Gucci, formed part of the celebration.

Perhaps the most striking contrast came with “The Age of Intelligence,” where technology entered the runway through intelligent materials and humanoid robots. The futuristic moment placed Milan’s rich tradition of craftsmanship in conversation with the rapidly changing world of artificial intelligence.
Adding another layer of culture, Teatro alla Scala contributed to the evening’s performances, bringing the world of opera into the fashion spectacle.

Ultimately, Vogue World: Milano was more than a runway presentation. It was a celebration of Italian creativity across generations — from the artisan’s hands to the possibilities of technology.
In a city where history and innovation have always existed side by side, Milan once again reminded the world that fashion is not only about what we wear, but about culture, imagination and the art of moving forward.
