Cannes, May 2026 — Against the candlelit expanse of the Majestic Beach Club, the Beach Ball Gala Dinner returned this year in an exceptional edition that stood among the most distinguished evenings of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.

Organized by Royal Gentlemen — Thomas Misse and Marek Harmony — in collaboration with AI Films (Jacques Durand) and Congress Awards (Anna Stukkert), the evening brought together an international gathering of artists, tastemakers, and visionaries for a night at the intersection of cinema, fashion, and fine living.

The programme was conceived as a complete sensory experience. Rex Christy Fernando presented a Haute Couture fashion show of rare elegance, drawing sustained attention from a discerning audience. An art exhibition curated by Anna Sashina added depth and contemplative beauty to the evening’s atmosphere, inviting guests to pause between courses and conversations. Live musical performances by Fausta Gallelli, Olga Filippova, and Maurits carried the evening across its arc with warmth and distinction.

The table was set to the highest standard of French hospitality, with a gourmet dinner that reflected Royal Gentlemen’s commitment to the Grand Art de Vivre — the belief that great occasions deserve great attention to every detail, from the first glass of Champagne to the final note of music.

“The Beach Ball is not simply a gala,” said Thomas Misse, co-founder of Royal Gentlemen.
“It is a sanctuary — a moment when the energy of Cannes, at its most creative and cosmopolitan, finds a setting worthy of it.”

The evening also carried meaning beyond the festivities. The Beach Ball supports the PANGEE FOUNDATION highway for peace & IRA France Afrique a commitment that Royal Gentlemen holds at the heart of this annual gathering.

Held on the eve of the Festival’s final days, the Beach Ball confirmed its place in the Cannes calendar — not as a peripheral event, but as one of its defining moments.
