Paris, April 2026 — Edge at Hudson Yards, the highest indoor/outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, unveils an ambitious transformation set to launch in summer 2026. Designed to redefine the New York skyline experience, this multi-million-dollar investment introduces a fully immersive journey that begins long before visitors reach the 100th floor.

Rising over 335 meters above Manhattan, Edge will guide guests through a curated sensory ascent where light, color, and movement converge. From the entrance on the 4th floor to the iconic sky deck, each stage of the experience will unfold as a dynamic narrative, evolving with the rhythm of the day and the changing seasons—ensuring no two visits are ever the same.

This visionary project is led by Hudson Yards Experiences in collaboration with Journey, Moment Factory, and SOFTlab. Together, they have conceived a sequence of environments that blur the boundaries between architecture, art, and emotion.

Among the highlights, Pulse immerses visitors in an electrifying interplay of sound and color inspired by the city’s heartbeat. Crystal Cave offers a contemplative space of translucent forms that shift with the skyline’s natural light, while Infinite City reimagines New York’s verticality through a luminous architectural installation.

As visitors ascend, the visual narrative transitions from the brightness of daytime Manhattan to the golden hues of sunset, ultimately dissolving into abstract nocturnal atmospheres. The journey culminates on the outdoor platform—famed for its glass floor and angled walls—where the sensation of floating above the city reaches its peak.

At the summit, a new year-round dining concept will elevate the experience further. Developed by Journey and operated by Tao Group Hospitality, the 100th-floor venues will feature refined small plates, signature cocktails, and a Champagne Bar designed for both day and night indulgence.

The return of the Marquee Skydeck nightlife series from May 1 signals a permanent expansion of Edge’s cultural offering, with performances by internationally acclaimed artists including Benny Benassi and Hot Since 82.

With this transformation, Edge at Hudson Yards positions itself not merely as an observation deck, but as a living, evolving destination—where the skyline becomes an experience to feel, not just to see.
