Paris Haute Couture Week | Spring–Summer 2026

At Paris Haute Couture Week Spring–Summer 2026, Saiid Kobeisy revealed REBIRTH, a couture collection that marked a pivotal moment in the designer’s creative evolution. Presented on January 27 at The Ritz Paris, the collection unfolded as a poetic meditation on transformation — where vulnerability becomes strength, and restraint gives way to liberation.

REBIRTH is conceived as a passage rather than a spectacle. Through 31 meticulously crafted looks — 25 womenswear and 6 menswear — Kobeisy traced an emotional and physical metamorphosis, reflecting the human experience of renewal. The collection moved with intention, guiding the audience from grounded, protective forms toward airy silhouettes that suggested release, expansion, and freedom of the spirit.

The narrative began in raw neutrality. Textures felt restrained, almost guarded, before gradually dissolving into lighter, radiant fabrics. Structured silhouettes softened over time, evolving into fluid lines that mirrored the body’s return to openness. This progression was not abrupt, but measured — echoing the quiet strength found in genuine rebirth.

At the core of REBIRTH lies exceptional couture craftsmanship. Every garment was entirely handcrafted, requiring between 600 and over 1,000 hours of artisanal labor. Tens of thousands of beads, crystals, threads, and feathers were applied by hand using techniques passed down through generations. The result was couture that felt alive — layered with memory, patience, and devotion to process.

Feathers played a symbolic and sculptural role throughout the collection. Lady Amherst pheasant feathers sourced from Northern Myanmar and swan feathers from Denmark were reimagined within Kobeisy’s couture language, referencing migration, continuity, and transformation. Rather than decoration, they became narrative elements — growing organically from silhouettes, merging with silk tulle, and forming voluminous structures with intentionally raw edges that emphasized becoming over completion.

Material innovation defined several of the collection’s most striking looks. A signature dress crafted from chamois leather was laser-cut into thousands of unique fragments, each assembled by hand and layered with irregular sequins to create a luminous, evolving surface. Italian leather was transformed into fine threads and applied in subtle degradé effects, reinforcing themes of protection and renewal through sculptural form.

The bridal gown stood as the emotional and symbolic heart of REBIRTH. Entirely enveloped in hand-attached feathers, it appeared weightless and ethereal despite its complexity. A sculptural A-line silhouette, elongated embellished sleeves, and dramatic feathered wings evoked protection and transcendence — capturing the intimate beauty of a new beginning and the quiet power of becoming.

The color palette reinforced the collection’s emotional arc. Shades of Platinum Frosting, Cannoli Cream, Pale Aqua, and Citrus Essence introduced softness and light, while deeper tones such as Tourmaline and Jet Black anchored the narrative, creating contrast and depth. Together, they traced the visual language of emergence — from shadow to clarity.
Reflecting on the collection, Saiid Kobeisy shared:
“Celebrating 25 years of evolution, REBIRTH reflects the brand’s new creative chapter. Through innovative fabric techniques and refined craftsmanship, the collection embodies continuity, reinvention, and a renewed identity.”

With REBIRTH, Saiid Kobeisy reaffirmed couture as an emotional discipline — one that honors time, transformation, and the quiet resilience required to begin again. In the intimacy of The Ritz, the Spring–Summer 2026 collection unfolded not as an ending, but as an opening — a renewed vision shaped by experience, intention, and enduring artistry.
