Miami Beach, FL — December 5–7, 2025 — This December, Art Basel Miami Beach 2025 returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center with its most ambitious edition yet. With 287 premier galleries from 44 countries converging under one roof, the fair cements its role as the leading international art showcase in the Americas: a vibrant intersection of modern and contemporary art, cultural dialogue, and global community.

The Galleries sector once again anchors the fair, bringing together 226 leading dealers from across the Americas, Europe, Asia and beyond. From museum-quality works by twentieth-century masters to bold contemporary statements, this year’s lineup reflects both continuity and renewal in the art world. Blue-chip galleries share space with emerging voices, highlighting the fair’s dual commitment to heritage and innovation.
This year’s edition also amps up regional representation: Latin American and Caribbean galleries feature strongly, offering new dialogues around identity, heritage, and contemporary expression. Debut exhibitors such as Havana-based gallery El Apartamento make their first appearance — marking a milestone in bridging cultural narratives across continents.

2025 marks a new moment in the Art Basel calendar: the inaugural Art Basel Awards, honouring 11 exceptional practitioners and institutions across visual and adjacent creative disciplines. These “Gold Awardees” were selected through a peer-driven process — an acknowledgment from the community itself to those shaping the future of art.
The first Awards Night will be held on December 4 at the New World Center, a Frank Gehry–designed landmark in Miami Beach, and promises to unite the art world’s leading voices in celebration of creativity, collaboration and cultural exchange.
Additionally, the fair’s new programming expands beyond gallery walls: workshops, interactive exhibits, and immersive installations — including a Pop Art–themed workshop near the show’s “Zero 10” zone — offer opportunities for engagement beyond traditional viewing.

Art Basel Miami Beach anchors a week-long cultural takeover of Miami. Parallel to the fair, leading institutions such as The Bass Museum and Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) launch ambitious exhibitions and public programming, transforming museums, galleries and public spaces into a city-wide canvas of creativity and exchange.
This edition continues the fair’s commitment to accessibility and education: through the Rosa de la Cruz Student Participation Program, 100 students from Miami’s Design and Architecture Senior High School (DASH) will receive complimentary access — encouraging new generations to engage with contemporary art.
