An Evening of Elegance, Impact, and Global Solidarity at the Iconic Hôtel de Paris

Monaco, June 14, 2025 — In a spectacular night filled with purpose and generosity, the prestigious Mercy Ships Gala took place at the historic Salle Empire at Hôtel de Paris, raising more than €800,000 to support free surgical care for underserved communities in Africa.

The event was masterfully organized by long-time Mercy Ships ambassador Roland Brautigam, with essential support from his dedicated team, including Lili Pahlavan. Together, they have transformed this gala into one of Monaco’s most impactful philanthropic evenings, uniting changemakers, fashion icons, and global humanitarians for a common cause.

The night opened with vibrant African dance performances, live jazz music, and the dynamic Les Femmes show, immediately setting a high-energy tone. Guests were then treated to a runway fashion show featuring modern and creative collections by Della Piane and CISELES, followed by a refined three-course dinner and a captivating performance by the French Twins.

Throughout the evening, Mercy Ships representatives shared emotional stories about their mission—delivering free, life-saving surgeries aboard the world’s largest civilian hospital ships. Since its founding, the organization has completed over 100,000 surgeries, helping transform lives across Africa.

The gala also featured silent and live auctions, alongside a powerful paddle raise, inviting guests to fund critical procedures like cleft lip repairs, cataract removals, and tumor extractions.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of those in attendance, the event raised over €800,000—providing vital support for Mercy Ships’ continued mission.
