The conference highlighted the need to reduce the carbon footprint of older yachts, as discussed by Jean-Marc Bolinger, CEO of MB92 Group. Robert van Tol, Executive Director of the Water Revolution Foundation, emphasized the importance of eco-responsible practices onboard, while Giedo Loeff from Feadship showcased how innovations in superyachts can influence other industries. The total length of yachts docked at the marina this year reached an impressive 2,616 meters, further cementing Monaco's status as a global hub for luxury yachts.

Visitors had the chance to explore a fleet of 120 extraordinary vessels, many featuring eco-conscious advancements. Among the new releases was the 122-meter *Kismet* by Lürssen, which boasts hybrid technology and can be chartered for an astonishing €3 million a week. Rossinavi, known for their innovative designs, unveiled the *Seawolf X*, a hybrid-electric catamaran, while Nautor Swan introduced *DreamCatcher*, their first hybrid sailing maxi yacht. Sanlorenzo's *Almax*, a 50-meter vessel equipped with hydrogen fuel cells from Siemens Energy, was another highlight. Siemens also sponsored the show’s Sustainability Hub, a platform for showcasing cutting-edge eco-solutions and fostering new ideas to promote a greener superyacht industry.
The Monaco Yacht Show is not just about the yachts; it’s a lifestyle event that attracts the crème de la crème of the yachting world. Celebrities, industry leaders, and international influencers gathered to celebrate the best in yachting. The Omniyat party at the Yacht Club de Monaco was one such event where guests were treated to a performance by British singer Craig David. As the rain cleared, the festivities continued under a sky filled with the sounds of music and the endless flow of Möet & Chandon.
